Tips to Find Facebook Friends

 Tips to Find Facebook Friends-keysus.blogspot.com

What happened to the tinny girl you hung out with in high school? Wouldn't it be a good idea to contact him again? Or with your colleagues from former companies? And who else is this, whose name you don't know, but with whom you always speak so well on your sister's birthday? There is a good chance that you will find one of them on Facebook. We'll tell you how.

Tips to Find Facebook Friends

Method 1: Enter your name or email address in the search bar

The fastest and easiest way to find friends on Facebook is via the search bar. This is the free white column right at the top left, next to the little Facebook logo on your home page.

- Log in to Facebook and click with the cursor in the search field.

- Enter the name or email address of the person you are looking for.
Facebook automatically displays matching people who are logged into the network below. Click the appropriate entry, and

- Facebook will list everyone registered under that name. You will see: Identical names are more common than you think. Additionally, you may see posts from friends who mention the person you are looking for or who have commented on them.

- Did you find the person you were looking for? Then open the person's profile by clicking on their name.

- Click the Add Friend button on the cover image. The selected person will receive a friend request and will be added to your friend's list as soon as they accept your request.

Method 2: Use "Find Friends"

Facebook publicly wants to bring people together. That's why the network itself becomes active when it comes to making friends for you. The main place for this is the Friends page. You can also call it using the button on the start page, which you can find in the top bar to the right of your thumbnail profile picture and the home page button.

On this page you will see several options that will help you find friends:

- Friend requests: These are requests you receive from other people. You can use it to confirm or delete requests. If you still want to think about it, just leave it on the list without realizing it.

- People you may know: Facebook lists people here, some of whom have friends in common with you. Do you know one or the other through this "detour"? Then you can this person by clicking friend / in Add friend request Send or delete.

- Add personal contact: Here Facebook uses the address from your mailbox. More on that in the next chapter.

- Making friends: Maybe you are not looking for a specific person, but for acquaintances from your hometown, school, or workplace. In this section, you can select one or more criteria by simply writing the name of the hometown, school, etc. in the appropriate search field. Facebook will then display people who meet these criteria.

Method 3: Search the friend's list

Are you likely to find contacts on Facebook with people you meet repeatedly, for example, because they are friends with acquaintances - but who you may not meet when you are looking for friends yourself? Viewing the friend's list of your Facebook contacts can help you.

- Log in to Facebook.

- Click in the top menu bar on your little avatar or in your name (cursor disappears profile one).

- Click in the bar below your cover image to friends. Facebook shows all your contacts.

- Select a contact by clicking on his name.

- Click Friends below the cover image to view your contact friends list.
Caution: If this user hides his friend list from others (you can find out how to do this in our guide to hiding Facebook friends - that's how it works), you will only see their mutual friends.

- Did you find people on the list that you want to be friends with on Facebook? Then click their name on the friend / add to them to send a request.

Method 4: Find a Mailing Address Book

Do you have people who are asleep in your email contacts with whom you have exchanged addresses and who may also be active on Facebook? You don't have to enter them individually in the search bar to identify them as Facebook users - the network will do this for you if you want. And in this way:

- Log in to Facebook.

- Click on the top menu bar to find friends.

- In the Add personal contact box you can find many email providers like GMX or Web.de, but also iCloud. Click the service you use or click the envelope of another email provider to the right.

- Depending on your choice, enter your own email address, Apple ID, and/or password and follow the instructions.

- Your email contact will be uploaded to Facebook. If you are already registered to the network, you can add them as friends to send requests.

Method 5: Use a search engine

You don't have to go to the network to see if someone you know has a Facebook profile. You can also have a traditional search on Google and Co. started. Give the name and possibly to your place of residence or work or search the search engine and the word Facebook. You will then be shown all profiles that meet these requirements. However, you must be logged in to view them or, if necessary, send a friend request.

Invite friends to Facebook

Maybe your Facebook friends aren't active on the network yet? Then you can invite them to join. , The prerequisite is that you first upload your contacts - either your email address (For details, can be found here) or via the app on your smartphone (> tip menu up to three strokes Friends> Contacts> Go).

Then you can invite your friends:

Go to browser to "Imported invitations and contacts management" and click on Facebook invitation> Submit.
Tap app> go to the three-stroke Friends menu> Invitation and tap the desired contact in Invite.

Facebook offers many ways to keep in touch with your friends and acquaintances. You can show everyone your latest adventures through posted photos, exchange birthday wishes via chronicles, chat with them via Messenger, and much more. But of course, all this is only possible if you are friends with each other on Facebook. Have you met all your real-life friends on the network and added them to your contact list? If not, you now know what options are available to you to find it.
